At the beginning of the semester we researched
a brand that we chose.
I chose to design a space for the Japanese whiskey
Hibiki from the house of Suntory.
I researched Japanese values and values of the brand.
In my research I came to the Japanese symbols and among them the Ensō which symbolizes absolute enlightenment, strength, elegance, the universe and mu (the void).
It is characterized by minimalism born from Japanese aesthetics.
Usually, the Ensō is drawn in one fluid, expressive stroke, without changing it. It testifies to the character of its creator and the context of his creation in a short and lasting period. Ensō painting is a spiritual practice that can be done as often as once a day.

The materials I chose helped me create a monochromatic and harmonious space.
In the space I designed you can see the Ensō expressed in a ramp covered in corten steel.
On the upper level of the space I designed a waiting area for going down to the basement.
You will see an open and bright space with a central element that attracts attention, in the right side of the space there is a restroom.

On the lower level you can see the bar and the variety of seating areas that help create an enveloping feeling in the space and the circular continuation is also expressed in the basement.
In the left side of the space you can see the operational
area and the kitchen.
